About Me

My name is Jess Steorra. I’m a devotee of the goddess Persephone, and a witch, ceremonial magician, Hellenic polytheist, and Hermeticist. I’ve been venerating the chthonic gods for over twelve years. Persephone has been a central current in my life throughout that time, shaping both my personal practice and the work I do with others.

My path has not been linear. I started my career in healthcare and nutritional science, working in large city hospital systems for most of my twenties before moving in a different direction: one which led me into the antique auction world, and into a deeper relationship with the gods of my Sicilian ancestry.

Nowadays I live in Salem, Massachusetts, where I work as a tarot reader and spiritual consultant. My ongoing mission is to shine a light in dark places, empowering clients to navigate the crossroads in their lives with clarity and insight. My readings are known for their accessibility and depth, blending intuition and claircognizance with over two decades of study and practice in the western esoteric tradition.

Online, I run a free educational resource/shrine to Kore-Persephone on the Instagram account @arrhetoskoura. This website, and the classes I teach, are a natural extension of that offering.
